Random information in the form of quotes, test random selection via javascript.

Link to simple visual overload: suggestions to further engulf audience.

Through this BLOG I was directed to this SITE which is considerably more complex then my random quote section test. It takes the drop down search bar on Google into a more visual and abstract method of presenting optional information.

What do you suggest is a similar concept where the links between a selected word varies from low to high association so the program could pick out a word that means the opposite, or that has the same  meaning, or links it to how you would structure that word in a  sentence, etc…

Simon Everly a web designer posted this in his blog about some interesting patterns he discovered while testing out these ‘suggestion’ sites:

‘There are some recurring themes which have emerged as I’ve been playing with the site during its creation. Among other things, it seems people do rather a lot of searching on the topics of music, religion and relationships.

Sometimes the results are sad, like the people searching for free ebooks on relationships for dummies, and sometimes hopeful like looking for love.

Health is also a recurring theme with the names of medicines, diseases and symptoms appearing over and over again.

Differences and similarities are often highlighted between males and females.’
