Interaction

I have no idea where to find information so just searching for any motion tracking program to start off with was the first thing.

openFrameworks

C++ I know is computer programming, something people have a whole degree on to just make software work. I’m still not sure if I can work it out.

Many eye candy’s

Quite cool, would be interesting how that can be developed and used effectively for a purpose in the future.

Next would be mass spammage of coding on simple shapes to figure out whats available and doable. If I can get some basic program going then most of the previous research into emotion, human definitions, and social networking structures can be used to further visuals and content…that’s if the programming works.

Augmented Anamorphosis (distorted projection) – graduation project by Sander ter Braak (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht). The project explores projection of a 3D object in space dependant on viewer’s location; clearly shows the concept in augmenting objects in space.

All of these are really wishful thinking, reality is I cannot possibly come out with the goods! (C++, openFrameworks, Java). So where do I go from here?

  • Networking (involving a number of people through communication).
  • Sculpture (3D artwork created by shaping or combining hard materials).

Augmented sculpture

MK12 did the design work for the James Bond interactive computer, interesting to draw influences from for design work.

Schematic did the designs for Minority Report’s interactive computer.
