After a tutorial with Simon, it was obvious that there was no CLEAR direction. I’ve tried too much to cram everything into a ball, looking and thinking about theory too much…dissertation really got to me; dissecting them with no grasp of applying it to this project, or if it is even  an important part of the project. Keep it simple stupid, and freakin man up!

  • Ok, right from the beginning I wanted the audience to gain a sense of curiosity, inspiration and knowledge. From research I know knowledge based interactions develop over a long period of time with people adding their own knowledge (Wikipedia). Most interactions I’ve researched have looked at simple ideas like shadows, lights, and human recognition. So I’m looking to create a piece that makes people curious; attract audience to experience a friendly interaction.
  • For now grabbing peoples attention is the goal, I’ll work out how to make the piece a social network (teamwork) piece later on.
  • Previous tutorials ended up suggesting that understanding behavior was something that would help with developing an interactive piece > what kind of stimulus? > What type of audience? > Whats the common element that attracts u
